AJP Trustees
Denise Dunbar is a journalist and Alexandria resident since 1986. She is currently publisher, executive editor and part owner of the Alexandria Times newspaper. She is also currently president of the D.C. Pro Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. Denise has won numerous SPJ and Virginia Press Association awards for her writing. She holds a B.S. in journalism from the University of North Texas and a M.A. in political science from the University of Georgia.

Will Dunbar co-founded Core Capital in 1999 and has served as managing director since then. Core is a Washington, D.C. venture capital firm focused on early stage companies developing disruptive, “core” technologies targeting high-growth sectors. Before starting Core Capital, Will had 13 years of venture capital and private equity experience in both large and small firms. Will is a member of Young Presidents Organization Gold and serves on numerous boards and board committees at such nonprofits as the Meyer Foundation, The Madeira School, and Davidson College. Will received his B.A. in economics from Davidson College and an M.B.A from Harvard Business School.
